This is the latest design from Bill Hempel. The 50% Extra 260 has been designed to be the BEST performing 50% aerobatic and freestyle plane in the world. This airplane was designed around the new 3W-275 engine for the best power to weight ratio. With this engine, the Extra 260 will have equal or better performance than a 40% aerobatic plane. Using the same construction method as his 50% Edge, this plane is not only strong but light weight. This is a very complete ARF airplane. All control surfaces come pre-hinged and installed and are flight ready. Install your servos, control arms and pushrods and it will be ready to fly. The new motor box comes pre-drilled for the 3W-275 engine and should make engine installation a breeze. Airplane comes with hardware and a pre-painted Hempel-head pilot. Additional accessories are also available to make the assembly process easier and faster to get your new plane airborne. |
